Tomorrow May 1 we start an 8,000 mile trip, covering 15 states, 36 cities and towns, and at least 16 of America’s National Parks. I’ll try posting something new every day. Needless to say Leo and I are very excited about this trip.
We’ve been planning this for over a year now. Picking sites, making reservations , doing tons of research. This past weekend we moved our motor coach to the Raleigh State Fair Grounds to get it ready. By the way we bought a new diesel pusher which we call Buddy. Here’s a picture.
We are very happy with this new coach, we have a lot more room and the benefits of diesel is a win win. We’ve bought enough food to last a month. We are also looking forward to enjoying and tasting the local foods we will come across, so we didn’t over buy, well at least everything fit in the fridge.
Our first stop as you can see in the map is Knoxville, Tennessee, but that’s just an overnight stop. My next post will be in Memphis. Thank you to our friends and family for your well wishes on our adventures, we love you!

I am looking forward to” traveling” with you!!!! I am in awe of any one DRIVING that huge vehicle but bet it is really comfy!
